Presentation of the training

The Bachelor 3 in Management, Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA) is a generalist degree in accountancy.

The professions targeted are those of chartered accountant or statutory auditor (accounting staff or chartered accountants & statutory auditors), management control or audit, and the accounting departments of SMEs and large companies or local authorities.

The Master’s degree in CCA or CGAO (but also the Master’s degrees in Finance) are the logical continuation of the Bachelor’s degree in CCA, which is the preferred course for these Master’s degrees.

The aim of the 3rd year of the Bachelor’s programme is to acquire skills in advanced accounting, finance, management control and legal, tax and social management. In addition to English (LV1), German or Spanish is offered as a second foreign language (LV2).

Students must complete a minimum two-month internship in an accounting firm, a company, a local or regional authority, or a large association. Teaching is provided by both academics and professionals. There are around thirty students in the Initial Training group, which allows for active teaching and effective supervision of personal work.

Students attend classes two or three days a week at IAE Moulins, under an apprenticeship contract (or a professional training contract, but only in exceptional cases due to age). Two groups of apprentices, each with 25 students, are organised so that apprentices can benefit from ideal supervision.

Work-study schedule:

2 days – 3 days of classes per week

The full programme is available in the downloadable course outline.

The Bachelor 3 in Accounting, Control and Auditing is an essential step on the path to the Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA) or the Master’s degree in Management Control and Operational Auditing (CGAO).

Career opportunities include public accounting and auditing, management control, and internal and external auditing.
