Presentation of the training

The main objective of Bachelor 1 MGI is to train students to work in an international environment and to act responsibly within organisations, by developing their curiosity, autonomy and initiative.

It also enables students to acquire the fundamental knowledge in management sciences needed to pursue a Master’s degree in management.Inthe1st year, the teaching is general, the aim being to give students a common base of knowledge and skills in the social sciences and mathematics, as well as an initial approach to management science subjects. 1st year courses are taught by the partner university hosting the student, with the exception of the back-to-school seminar (methodology, preparation for university work and general culture will be taught at IAE Lille before departure).

Students will acquire the fundamental skills that will enable them to develop as managers in an international and intercultural environment.

– Mastering interpersonal skills and developing leadership in an international environment

– Developing the ability to adapt to intercultural situations

– Acquire theoretical knowledge and analytical skills to implement and develop managerial know-how

– To develop an in-depth knowledge of the global economic, social and political context of organisations, and of their responsibilities in the context in which they operate.

Back-to-school seminar (3 days) at the IAE in early September, followed by a mobility trip.

No compulsory work placement.

In addition to the ECTS credits acquired in the partner country, the student must complete a mobility project during the year (a report on the academic experience abroad accompanied by a research project on a subject related to the student’s career plan and the country of mobility).

The full programme is available in the downloadable course outline.

Bachelor 2 International Management at IAE Lille.

You are a final year pupil or a student wishing to change course, with a baccalauréat, a DAEU (Diploma of Access to University Studies) or equivalent.

You are a French national with foreign secondary school leaving qualifications or a national of the European Union and assimilated countries:

→ You must make an application for admission on the national “PARCOURSUP” platform: https: //www.parcoursup.fr/

On this platform, you will find the characteristics, expectations and general criteria for assessing applications, which will enable the teaching committee to rank your application. You will receive an offer of admission if your application is accepted within the limits of capacity.

To be considered, applicants must have a minimum B2 level in English and in the language of their university studies if they will be studying in a non-English-speaking course. Applicants are selected on the basis of their results at lycée, their general knowledge, their command of English (minimum B2 level) and the additional modern language if they are planning to study in Spain, Germany or Italy (minimum B2 to study in one of these languages, A2-B1 in German to follow the English-speaking course in Germany). Autonomy, the ability to work as part of a team and motivation to follow an international pathway in line with a study and career plan are also two fundamental criteria. Professional and community experience, as well as involvement in sporting and/or artistic activities, are also valued.

English: B2 level minimum

French: minimum level B2 (for applicants whose mother tongue is not French)

Selection is made solely via Parcoursup. After studying the applications, the committee selects 150 candidates who are invited to attend an oral selection interview before a panel of two IAE teachers.
